The legendary singer and actor is considered one of the most successful music artists in both the ’70s and the ’80s. In 1975, she gained a commercial breakthrough through her country-pop hits “One of a Kind Pair of Fools” and “I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool.”
Mandrell is also a successful actress, having appeared in popular TV shows such as “Walker, Texas Ranger” and “Baywatch.” The veteran country music singer was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2009 for her magnificent work.
