This Seemingly Innocent Photo Reveals Something Sinister Lurking In Dundas Peak, One Of Canada’s Popular Nature Spots

Looking at the view from Dundas Peak in Hamilton, Canada, during the fall season, all you’ll see is serene beauty. The trees’ changing foliage down the slope and the forested area below is reminiscent of lovely landscape paintings. But for all its outward beauty, the popular spot seems to be hiding something sinister.

Many Instagram-worthy photos have been taken from the towering outlook, but one particular image stands out from the rest. Zooming into it would throw you down a rabbit hole filled with discoveries of Dundas Peak’s most baffling mysteries.

The Place For Risky Selfies

Dundas Peak is a popular local destination among nature lovers living around the city of Hamilton in Ontario, Canada. The lookout offers views of Spencer Gorge below and makes for a fantastic spot to take photos. While it’s every landscape photographer’s dream come true, hikers take out their camera with a different picture in mind: selfies.

Many thrill-seekers go to great lengths to get a dramatic picture of themselves to post on social media. In fact, almost 29,000 Instagram photos are tagged with #dundaspeak as of December 2020. Authorities aren’t too happy about this, though, and soon, you’ll probably be agreeing with them, too.
