You would think that the lad would bring his favorite antique item to the Antiques Roadshow. But when David Weiss asked Stephen Padlo what the best antique item he ever found was, the young collector didn’t name the painting on display as that item.
Instead, he told Weiss that the item was a sterling silver serving platter that he had purchased. Weiss enjoyed Padlo’s passion and knowledge as he described the item to Weiss. The appraiser himself was enjoying the interview and continued popping some interesting questions to his young show guest.
