You’ll Never Guess The Origin Of Some Of The Most Common Used Inventions

France – Parachute

One of the greatest inventions of all time, the parachute is a brave and daring aerial ride. Inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s idea, Frenchman Louis-Sebastien Lenormand designed a model chute out of two umbrellas. Yet the creation of the actual first actual parachute is attributed to André-Jacques Garnerin. His invention helped in significantly slowing down the movement of a man as he fell to the ground.

These contraptions got invented for the specific purpose of slowing down fast-moving objects, and parachuting has now become a recreational activity finding its way in various sports. Indeed a fascinating case of imagination becoming a reality.
