You’ll Never Guess The Origin Of Some Of The Most Common Used Inventions

Italy – Glasses

Glasses make you look fashionable, feel confident, and let you see the world in high definition if you naturally lack eye power. The credit goes from Rome’s emperor Nero to the mid-1200s when Italians invented modern-day eyewear.

Interestingly, lenses were initially fitted into leather or wooden frames and, on occasions, in handworked animal horns. This fascinating invention was primarily used by monks but gradually gained popularity in the Renaissance period as technology improved. Later, Benjamin Franklin added bifocal lenses, making the product even more versatile. Today, there are huge spectacle industries with advanced categories and designs providing innumerable options to choose from – What a time to be alive!
