You’ll Never Guess The Origin Of Some Of The Most Common Used Inventions
France – Films
The proud nation of France is not just famous for its fashion or delicious desserts but also for inventing films in 1895. While Canada introduced the big screen, we remain eternally grateful to the Lumière brothers from Paris for creating this beloved story-telling medium.
Initially, these cinematic projects were silent, descriptive, relatively short, mostly less than a few minutes, and the subjects contained images of scenic beauty, local vistas, news clippings, or quick comedic sketches. By 1914, countries like Europe, Scandinavia, and Russia set up numerous filmmaking industries. Today, the film world has improved beyond imagination, and modern creatives continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the medium.
