Some kids hit the jackpot at a very young age when they appear in famous commercials, films, television series, etc. While it’s great to start making money as early as possible, a career in show business isn’t necessarily everyone’s dream job.
While some did continue to thrive in the entertainment industry, many child stars have chosen to pursue different careers, much like us in the real world. The world became their oyster as they went to become many things—from professors to tattoo artists to electricians. Lark Voorhies – Author & Actress
She was born in Tennessee in 1974. Lark Voorhies found her way in front of the camera by the time she was a teenager. In fact, she got to play one of TV’s most beloved characters, the one of Lisa Turtle in Saved by the Bell during the ‘80s and ‘90s.
Little did she know that this character would keep her busy in her 40s! She’s now going to reprising it for an episode of the follow-up Saved by the Bell series in 2020. Since the show stopped airing, Lark has also published some books, like Reciprocity and True Light.
