You Wouldn’t Have Guessed The Career Paths These Child Stars Chose As Adults
Michael Conner Humphreys – Takes The Occasional Acting Job
Most people know enough to identify Tom Hanks as the title character of Forrest Gump, but Michael Conner Humphreys is less popular even though he played the same character. Before you get confused, Humphreys played the young Forrest Gump in the 1994 movie and even received a Young Artist Award nomination for it.
As a young adult, he pursued his higher education at the University of North Alabama before taking on a role in Pathfinders: In the Company of Strangers in 2011. He also served in the military. After a decade-long hiatus, the 36-year-old is currently working on a new television series, Knight’s End, scheduled to release later in 2021.
