Richard Bartlett Schroder was billed as Ricky Schroder for his childhood work, whereas today, he is credited as Rick Schroder. After making his acting debut on The Champ, he achieved stardom as a child with the role of Ricky Stratton in Silver Spoons.
Even though we haven’t seen much of the 50-odd-year-old since 2016, he earned production credits for the 2017 documentary, The Volunteers. In 2016, Schroder divorced Andrea Bernard after 24 years of marriage. They had four children together during that time. He hasn’t had the best record with the law in recent years, as he was arrested twice on suspicion of domestic violence.
