The Karate Kid trilogy was one of the most popular ones among the ’80s and ’90s kids, which is why they can never forget who Ralph Macchio is. For anyone who doesn’t know, he was the star of the films, playing Daniel LaRusso.
Almost three decades later, Macchio reprised the role in the films’ sequel Cobra Kai, which continues to this day. Today, he is not too far away from turning 60. Macchio has been in a happy marriage with Phyllis Fierro, a nurse practitioner, since 1987, and they share two children. He has done several other projects like Ugly Betty and The Deuce along the way.
