Kirk Douglas was an American actor, producer, director, and author. He was one of the last surviving stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood. He received three Academy Award nominations and a Golden Globe and was named the seventh-greatest male star of classic Hollywood cinema by the American Film Institute.
Douglas owned a mid-century modern abode in Palm Springs, California. The house, built in 1958, was designed by famed architect Donald Wexler. The pad was recently listed for sale for $3.2 million. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home is located on a large lot with expansive views of the San Jacinto mountains.
