Seeing the groom take off the newly-minted Mrs.’s garter is probably people’s favorite part of the reception festivities after the throwing of the bridal bouquet. But we bet the guests who witnessed this couple’s struggle to follow tradition didn’t enjoy this moment so much. Can you blame them?
The bride’s dress is hitching up too high as her man tries to remove her garter without accidentally flashing everybody within sight. Maybe she should’ve stood up or chosen a gown with a more voluminous skirt. Better yet, just skip observing the custom totally! Not all nuptial traditions are meant to be followed anyway.
