As pointed out earlier, animals are a hazard for weddings. Especially attention-seeking, spotlight-stealing cats who like to show off their behinds for the camera. It’s also unclear whether or not the photographer was trying something artful or poetic, but the only thing this comes across as is overbearing.
Then again, maybe Mr. Whiskers earned himself a single shot for his ego. It’s believed that if a cat sneezes on the eve of a wedding, then it brings good luck to the wedding couple. So maybe the wedding couple gave him his moment in the spotlight because of a little good luck he brought them the night before.
