Many of us know Bri Winkler for her work with ABC7 as a meteorologist. But did you know that she had to deal with her fair share of criticism after getting hired? The network had a choice between hiring her or an industry veteran, Kyle Hunter. After her selection, many accused the network executives of choosing looks over experience.
Winkler proved the naysayers wrong with her dedication and stellar performance. She may no longer be with the network, but she made an impact on many viewers with her journalistic flair and charming smile. After leaving ABC News in 2019, she’s been working as a climate specialist in Santa Barbara.
