Filipino-American broadcaster Elita Loresca’s humor, beauty, and brains have gained her many fans countrywide. It’s always nice to see people land their dream jobs after studying hard. Loresca earned degrees in Broadcast Journalism and a Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from the University of Mississippi before starting off her career.
After working her way up the journalism ladder, she became the lead weather anchor for KTRK-TV in 2015. Since then, she has delivered in-depth coverage of some of the worst hurricanes in recent years, including Rita, Wilma, and Katrina. Loresca continued delivering regular weather updates on KTRK-TV in 2022.
