Nicaraguan-born, Maria Molina was raised in South Florida, where her experience with hurricanes inspired her to become a meteorologist. In 2010 she became a regular face on the Fox News network, always dazzling viewers with her warm on-screen persona and bright smile.
Before joining TV, she graduated cum laude from Florida State University. After six years presenting on-air, she left her position at the television network to join the Advanced Study Program for the National Center for Atmospheric Research. Where in 2022, she continued as a postdoctoral fellow in the Advanced Study Program (ASP).
