Eric Clapton was already 53 when he met a 22-year-old Melia McEnery in 1999. She turned out to be the love of his life, and although they briefly split after dating for a year, they soon reunited and got married in 2001. The wedding happened in the rock legend’s birthplace, Ripley, in Surrey.
