Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell – 18 Years
It’s extraordinary how Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell met. Barbara Walters introduced them after McCartney was on her show and told her that he once fell in love with a Jewish girl. Shevell is Walter’s first-cousin-once-removed and graduated from Arizona State University.
She and McCartney got engaged and married in 2011 and attended Yom Kippur synagogue services before the wedding out of respect for Shevell’s religion. Upon their marriage, Shevell became lady McCartney. Paul wrote a song for her called My Valentine, which went onto his Kisses On The Bottom album in 2012. He released his later album called McCartney III Imagined in April 2021.
