Temuera Morrison as Hone Ropata, Shortland Street
Any true fan of Shortland Street remembers Temuera Morrison vividly. After all, he’s portrayed Dr. Hone Ropata on two seasons, first in 1992 and then again in 2008. Despite him missing his full head of hair now, that doesn’t mean that he’s not rocking the shaved style!
On top of soaps, though, he’s also playing in some blockbusters in his time, including his various roles on Star Wars in the ‘00s. In 2018 he played Tom Curry on Aquaman, a character which he’ll reprise in 2022. Meanwhile, he’s playing Boba Fett on The Mandalorian and its spinoff, The Book of Boba Fett.
