Speaking of humble upbringings, here comes Guy Pearce! He was born in the U.K. in 1967. However, he moved to Victoria, Australia, by the ‘70s. One of the first acting jobs he ever got was playing on Neighbours as Mike Young! He even later played on Hoe and Always, as David Croft.
For decades now, however, Pearce has been more involved with Hollywood movies. It’s safe to say that he owes his success to films like Memento and L.A. Confidential. Since 2016, he has been playing on Jack Irish, and in 2021, Pearce will be playing on multiple films, including Zone 414 and The Seventh Day.
