The late Michael Jackson left a legacy and influenced generations through his soulful music. He has a long list of songs that are still widely known, including Bad, which was released in the ’80s. The Martin Scorsese-directed music video was shot at the Brooklyn station Hoyt-Schermerhorn. However, not many folks are aware that the singer performed his fan-favorite moonwalk on it.
So in 2009, the year of Jackson’s demise, a councilor pushed to have the station named after the King of Pop, predicting that it would become a tourist attraction. Efforts rendered futile, but Jackson’s songs remain immortal and are widely used in different films and shows.
