Joel Embiid is one of the many athletes dating a model, but that doesn’t make his love story with Anne de Paula any less interesting. They met through a mutual friend at a dinner in New York in 2018 and didn’t even speak much at the event.
However, that didn’t stop them from becoming friends. In 2020, they welcomed their first child together. Being Embiid’s girlfriend is not the only reason why Paula is famous. In fact, she is best known for her swimsuit shoots with the Sports Illustrated magazine. During the 2021–22 season, Embiid led the National Basketball Association in scoring.
