Throughout the web, Melanie Gaydos is known for her rare genetic disorder, which is not preventing her from doing acting and modeling, and quite successfully. “I was never, ever bothered by the way that I look. It has nothing to do with me,” is what Gaydos says about herself in interviews while her career is on the rise.
As an actress, she was in Insidious: A Perfect Blue Sky, The Last Key, and most recently in All the Gods in the Sky, in 2018. Gaydos is now thirty-one, and she also models for various photographers, brands, and campaigns. Since birth, she has ectodermal dysplasia, a condition that can manifest in a number of defects throughout the human body.
