Somalia Knight is a model who spoke about her appearance and the effect it had on her life on several occasions. Her ears caused her to feel rather shy and closed off early on, being teased and mocked in childhood, which continued well beyond her teen years. However, today, Knight says her ears “enhanced” her life.
In her own words, her ears have made Knight, a stronger person. While she would always attempt to hide them when she was younger, with her curls, today, she showcases them in a grand manner. She is also an activist, speaking out against bullying of any kind as well as showing her support for women, the LBGTQ+, and immigrants everywhere.
