Unconventional Models Who Will Make Your Jaw Drop

Sara Geurts

When she was 10, Sara Geurts developed Dermatosparaxis Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome or EDS. It is a tissue disorder, inhibiting the natural production of collagen in the body. It is common knowledge of how important this protein is for the skin and tendons, muscles, and bones. It can make the skin easily bruise and really thin, weaken organs, and much more.

Geurts is now 29 and has told her story several times about trying to cover it up while in school age, but as she grew up, she started showing it more and more. Now, she is twenty-nine (in 2020), and she is a model, often credited for redefining beauty standards in the world.
