Shudu Gram makes one exception on our list, as she is a digital supermodel. That’s right, Shudu is not real but an avatar! She was created by Cameron James Wilson, who created an Instagram profile for her around 2017. The attention Shudu’s beauty attracted soon turned to controversy, as she was created by a white man.
But, Shudu appeared in Vogue, WWD, was in campaigns for Ellesse and Balmain and has even walked her first red carpet in the 2019 BFTA Awards, which was made possible with the use of chatbot and Google Pixel 3 technology. She was wearing a digital yellow Swarovski gown.
