The Fate of TV Shows: Is Your Favorite Getting Canceled?

Doctor Who

There’s something about the British and “Doctor Who” that makes perfect sense: it’s like both of them can’t live without one another! The very first episode of the sci-fi classic aired on November 23, 1963, and the current “Doctor Who” series has been on air since 2005. Nevertheless, the Brits still haven’t had enough of the Doc.

Following its 13th season, “Doctor Who” is reportedly getting renewed by BBC once more. In recent seasons, the show grabbed the imagination of the audiences by starring Jodie Whittaker, the first-ever female ‘Doctor Who.’ The show’s production cost has been estimated at a hefty $5 million per episode in recent seasons.
