In December 2018, a California resident was able to shame a robber into dropping a parcel after spotting him pick it up from her neighbor’s house. Shannon Brandon yelled at the top of her voice at the would-be robber to drop the package, and he got scared and obeyed. Even after reporting the incident, the suspect was never found.
