Renée Zellweger never had a problem with her weight, but for her role in Bridget Jones’s Diary, she had to put on some extra weight. She consumed as much as 4,000 calories per day, and she ultimately gained weight in no time.
After filming for the movie ended, she went back to her regular diet and became more active. She successfully shed the 20 pounds she had gained. Zellweger’s most recent role was in Judy, and her performance in the film won her the Best Actress awards at the Academy and Golden Globe Awards.
