Claire Bloom – Age 92

Actress Claire Bloom joined the British War Relief Society as a performer during World War II, marking the beginning of a long and successful career on stage, in film, and on television. But she began her career as a theatrical actress in London before eventually becoming a Hollywood legend.

Of the many films she has been recognized for, “Clash of the Titans,” “The King’s Speech,” and “A Doll’s House” stand out as particularly noteworthy examples. Though her acting skills remain great as ever, Bloom’s not as active as she used to be, and we last saw her in 2019’s “Summer of Rockets.”
