Michelle Sung Wie rose to the peak of golf fame in her early teenage years. At the tender age of ten, Wie was already competing at amateur golf tournaments like the USGA. She became a world-class golfer at 15 and was also the youngest winner of the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links in 2010.
Wie took a break to attend Stanford University in 2007. Still, she could not play on the university golf team because she was already a professional athlete with world records to her name. Wie later got married to Jerry West in 2019, and they had their beautiful daughter, Kenna, a year after.
