Bill Turnbull enjoyed a broadcasting career for four decades, primarily known for his work on BBC and its shows. In 2016, he announced that he would focus on spending more time with his wife, Sarah McCombie, and their three children. The couple tied the knot in March 1988 in the London Borough of Hackney.
They previously lived in Buckinghamshire, where McCombie worked as a newsroom editor for British Forces Broadcasting. They soon relocated to Cheshire and finally settled in Suffolk, where Turnbull spent much of his time enjoying a peaceful family life with the love of his life, their kids, and his pets.
