Joyce told them that the kitchen had been renovated in 1956. The stoves and broilers from when they owned the house were too large and inefficient. Joyce sounded like she had a very active approach to her house ever since the beginning. Besides being young, she knew what was needed at what time.
Every piece of appliance and decor was true to the era when they were bought. The kitchen seemed like it was straight from the ’60s. The tiles, fridge, colors, design, and everything else were kept to perfection. Gladys and Carla were not even trying to look for any faults anymore.
