The Quiet Life of Some of the Greatest NFL Players
Mel Renfro, 81, Dallas Cowboys
Mel Renfro had an impressive career as a running back for the Dallas Cowboys, making 10 Pro Bowl appearances and being a two-time Super Bowl champion. His legacy was so strong that he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and had a Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor in his name.
Renfro, who even acted as a backup quarterback at some point, focused on track and field events in the early part of his sporting career. Once his professional playing career came to an end, he became a defensive coach before deciding to pursue motivational speaking to spread his knowledge about different topics.
