The Quiet Life of Some of the Greatest NFL Players

Dan Dierdorf, 73, St. Louis Cardinals

He may have retired from the St. Louis Cardinals in 1983, but Dan Dierdorf certainly has not left the sporting arena since. He has become a renowned sportscaster, commentator, and talk show host during his broadcasting career. His work has been featured on KMOX, CBS, ABS, and Michigan Football, with the latter ending in 2021.

Before his sportscaster career, Dierdorf was a notable offensive tackle for the Cardinals, having been named to five first-team All-Pro games and six Pro Bowls. He’s a former co-proprietor of a steakhouse for nearly 30 years and is also one of the investors in St. Louis-based KTRS radio.
