With the locks changed and all of the non-paying roommate’s things packed up, the eviction action was complete, or was it? The remaining housemates still had to make a plan with the stuff or see it standing around the house, or worse, outside.
But they decided to be compassionate about the stuff, which was a good thing too. Like locking out and turning off the power, putting a tenant’s stuff out on the street can also have legal ramifications. Especially if anything happens to the items while they are outside. This is again easily solved by legal eviction action or by being smart.
