Although now in her 20s, Rumeysa Gelgi is still best remembered as the tallest female teen globally. Guinness World Records awarded her that title in 2014 when she was found to be a little over seven-foot-tall at 17. Upon accepting her certificate, she said that it was her dream to hold the record.
Years later and the title still belongs to her. According to her Instagram profile, Gelgi is now a researcher and a front-end developer. She’s also become an advocate for individuals born with a condition like hers. Safe to say, Gelgi has grown to be a balanced young woman!
