Stephanie Jallen – Paralympic Alpine Skier
Stephanie Jallen is an alpine skier who notably participated in the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Usually confined to a walking device, she said that discovering the sport gave her a sense of freedom in controlling her own movements. Seeing her speeding down snow-covered slopes, we can really tell how at home she feels doing what she loves.
She made her international debut in 2011 and won a bronze medal at the Winter Olympics just a couple of years later. Jallen, nicknamed Hopper, last competed at the Games in Pyeongchang in 2018. Outside of skiing, she studies business at King’s College in Pennsylvania.
