Tatyana McFadden – Track Paralympian
Tatyana McFadden was dealt a bad hand at the start of her life. But she didn’t let that dictate the rest of it. Despite being a wheelchair user and not having the ability to walk, she overcame these challenges to become an athlete on the top of her game.
She competes in the T54 category of the Paralympics’ track events for the United States. According to her website, she has won 17 medals from the competition since she made her debut in 2004. Now in her early 30s, McFadden is still active in her sport and is currently in Tokyo for the 2020 Paralympics.
