Natalia Partyka – Table Tennis Paralympian
Natalia Partyka had the odds stacked against her from birth. Born without her right hand and forearm, she overcame a lot to become one of the world’s most remarkable table tennis players. At the age of 11 in 2000, she became the youngest athlete to participate in the Paralympics.
Even more impressive is that she qualified for the Beijing 2008 Olympics and competed against non-disabled opponents. Now in her early 30s, Partyka is still active in the table tennis circuit. As of August 2021, she’s in Tokyo for the 2020 Paralympic Games.
