Keahiakawelo (Garden of the Gods) — Lanai
After exploring the Hana Highway, we decided to make the 45-minute trip from Lanai City to the wonderful Keahiakawelo. We know it’s a mouthful, so let’s just call it the Garden of the Gods. It’s one of Lanai’s must-visit locations, even though it looks nothing like what you’d expect from a Hawaiian attraction.
Who would’ve thought that a garden made out of rocks would make us feel so good? According to the local legends, the Garden of the Gods was built by two competing kahuna priests.
