When two teenagers got pulled over by a police officer at night, they unexpectedly turned the situation into a selfie moment. While taking a selfie with a police officer isn’t illegal in itself, it’s certainly an unconventional reaction to being pulled over.
Depending on the circumstances and the officer’s disposition, this could be seen as either a light-hearted gesture or a lack of seriousness about the traffic stop. Of course, some officers might even appreciate the friendly approach as long as it doesn’t interfere with their duties. However, this duo should have learned to read the room, or in this case, the roadside.
