The Queen Doesn’t Need A Passport
The queen doesn’t need a passport because passports in the UK and the Commonwealth realms are actually issued in the name of Her Majesty. In fact, the British passport cover features Royal Arms, an official request of the Britannic Majesty’s Secretary.
In it, the Secretary requests that all those whom it may concern allow the bearer to freely pass and that the Queen does not need passports. All other members of the royal family, including The Prince of Wales and the queen’s husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, have passports as this privilege doesn’t extend to them.
