It isn’t a secret that Prince Harry was once the wild child of the royal family. During his teens, the now-father of one confessed to experimenting with cannabis and partaking in underage drinking. As a result, his father, Prince Charles, arranged a trip for him to the Featherstone Lodge, a detox center for heroin addicts, in 2002.
The Prince of Wales, who learned that some addicts began with cannabis before moving on to harder drugs, thought that going there would educate his son. Fortunately, the gesture proved effective, and Prince Harry cleaned up his act for good, even serving in the British Army.
