Prince George Can’t Wear Pants Until He’s Eight Years Old
Speaking of fashion, it’s time we talk about why Prince George is always wearing shorts when we see him. As etiquette expert William Hanson told Harper’s Bazaar, it’s because trousers are meant to be worn by older boys and men. Letting younger boys wear pants is said to be a practice considered to be middle class.
Prince George would soon be able to put on his big boy pants as he turns eight years old in 2021. His younger brother Prince Louis would have to comply with the custom, which can be traced back to the 16th century, for six more years, though.
