Kirsten Gillibrand & Jonathan Gillibrand – Married For 20 Years
By now, you know that it’s pretty common to see lawyers serving as politicians. Kirsten Gillibrand is another one of them who is involved in U.S politics. She has been serving as the junior United States Senator from New York since 2009 and is also a member of the Democratic party.
In 2001, Gillibrand married Jonathan Gillibrand, a British national and a venture capitalist, who Kirsten met on a blind date. Jonathan was pursuing his MBA at the time, and although he planned to leave the country upon graduation, he stayed back for love. They’ve now been married for two decades and are a happy family of four.
