RICK SCOTT & ANN SCOTT – MARRIED FOR 49 YEARS
Before Ron DeSantis became the Governor of Florida, that role belonged to Rick Scott. He ran for two terms starting in 2011 and ending in 2019. After his second term as governor, he moved on to become the U.S. Senator of Florida, winning the position after a recount.
He has been married to Ann Scott since 1972. High school sweethearts, Rick was 19 and Ann was 20 years old when they tied the knot, and they share two daughters, who have given them six grandchildren. In 2021 Scott also became Chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
