Sam Strike – Johnny Carter, EastEnders
When Sam Strike debuted in EastEnders in 2013, he easily piqued fans’ curiosity. Not only was he a heartthrob, but he also had an interesting storyline as he portrayed a gay character named Johnny Carter. Unfortunately, the Essex native only stayed with the soap for a year, exiting in 2014.
Strike hasn’t said much about his departure except that he decided to explore other roles outside his character and that he felt from early on that he wouldn’t last with the show for a decade. Nowadays, the Bonded By Blood 2 star has his hands full with The Dougherty Gang, where he will play Ryan Dougherty.
