Ashley Slanina-Davies – Amy Barnes, Hollyoaks
After over a decade of playing Hollyoaks’ beloved Amy Barnes, it seems as if Ashley Slanina-Davies has given up acting for good. She once hinted at wanting a career in brain research when she first took a break from the soap in 2012 to start a neuroscience degree.
Slanina-Davies hasn’t acted in anything since starring in her final episode, where she was murdered in a whodunit storyline, in 2017. She’s also not active in any public social media account, perhaps trying to keep her life now as private as she can.
