With Studio 54 coming to life at the tail end of the ‘70s, some mashing between decades’ styles is to be expected. Looking at photos like this, you’ll notice how the ‘80s’ famously loud and bold styles are already creeping onto the dance floors.
Take this partygoer in white for example. She’s already wearing her locks in the coming decade’s signature big spiral curls as opposed to the straight and feathered hairstyle of the ‘70s. With so many fashion-forward patrons in attendance that were ahead of the trends, no wonder creatives like Halston, Calvin Klein, and Diana von Furstenberg always dropped by Studio 54.
